“Run for the Wall” Motorcycle ride Honoring Veterans to stop in Columbia

The “Run for the Wall” celebrates its 30 year anniversary honoring the veterans, current military, MIA’s and POW’s and will be passing thru Columbia, May 21st.

The “Run for the Wall” celebrates its 30 year anniversary as a healing mission for Vietnam Vets, giving them a “Welcome Home”  that they did not receive when they returned from the war. RFTW honors all veterans, current military, MIA’s and POW’s with a slogan is “ we ride for those that can’t .” The motorcycle trip starts in Ontario,  California and completes its mission at the Vietnam Wall in Washington, D.C.

Three routes will cross the country- the central route is passing thru Columbia and currently has almost 700 riders and passengers.  They will stop at the Lake of the Woods exit 131 on I-70 for gas and short break.  ETA is 2:45pm and then departs at 3:30 to head to Wentzille, Mo to spend the night.
