The reports are coming out of Australia from a music journalist with deep ties to the music scene there.
Murray Engleheart is the one making the claim that AC/DC will continue on with Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses.
Engleheart wrote on Facebook:
“Speculate all you want but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: AC/DC will continue with Axl on vocals — new album, touring, the whole nine yards. What was a massive gamble by Angus(Young) turned out to be an equally enormous triumph that has set the scene for the future.”
Co-founder and sole original member Angus Young has not indicated yet whether he intends to keep the band going. If he does plan to ask Axl to remain in the lineup, AC/DC would have to work around the ongoing Guns N’ Roses’ “Not in This Lifetime” tour.
