Even though they are officially done touring, could another album still be in Black Sabbath’s future?
In a new interview with Music Radar, bassist Geezer Butler said that the band had intended to follow up their highly successful album 13 with a blues album, but then touring got in the way. Also citing that to do it properly would take 2-3 years and since they weren’t sure if they’d all be there at that time they decided to final tour over the album.
When suggested by Music Radar that it wouldn’t take that long if they just recorded live blues jams in the studio, Butler said probably not, but they’d have to vary things out from the traditional 12-bars blues stuff.
No word if original drummer Bill Ward will be invited back for the album or when they would start work on the follow up blues album.
