Last weekend, my mind drifted back to a simpler more imaginative time. I heard that the record for tallest Lego tower was broken in South Korea. The current record holding tower stands at 105 feet (just taller than Jesse Hall) and is constructed with over 500,000 Legos!

As a kid Legos were my toy of choice. I always followed the instructions the first time, mostly to prove to myself that I could do it. But the true delight in Legos for me was breaking the finished product down, adding the individual bricks to my Lego bucket, and creating something from scratch. Not going to lie, 90% of the time I would build an airplane. Not sure why.

Reminisce with me! Share your favorite childhood toys and how you played with them below.

As the weather gets warmer, a troubling danger approaches in the streets of the hardest working city in America. This threat is putting every citizen in our town at risk of traumatic injury and fiscal ruin. It is wildly attractive women jogging in outrageously skimpy clothing on the sidewalk.

The very same sidewalks where our children play!

In a recently made up study, 92% of men have experienced strong to very strong distraction while driving in the peak jogging hours (8 am-8 pm). And of those 92%, 86% of those men were distracted for 20 seconds or more!

It comes down to responsibility. Wildly attractive women jogging in outrageously skimpy clothing know what they are doing. They know men will look at them while driving, and they know the potential outcome of their actions.

Please, for our children, jog on a treadmill, on a track, or on a trail away from traffic. Or if you really have to jog on a road, jog outside the KCMQ studios located at 3215 Lemone Industrial Blvd. Thank you.

So my question: In your opinion, who is the most beautiful woman of ALL TIME? Not just who’s hot right now, but who sets the ultimate standard of beauty in your mind? Would love to see your posts.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in a house with 3 guys so the whole debate over keeping the toilet seat up or down was solved democratically. However, in recent years the great debate has come to my bathroom and my argument of “just look before you sit” cannot seem to trump her argument of “just put the seat down when your done.”

It is a bitter stalemate.

So in the ultimate parallel to Title 9, I have come up with a solution that levels the playing field for both sexes: I put the lid down.

Simple in its design, I have forced both her and I to exert physical effort to use the toilet. Allowing both of us no advantage in the Porcelain War!

Interestingly enough, she hasn’t complained once! I understand that I am using the same amount of time and energy to put the lid down as I would just to put the seat down, and I expected this act of protest would be most annoying to her, but perhaps I have triumphantly found what marriage counselors call, “The Middle Ground.” Either that, or she just hasn’t noticed yet. Only time will tell.

Join the revolution! Put your lid down and share your outcome below.

Well, that’s a question you may have asked yourself too. And God knows there’s other questions that have plagued humanity for years. For example, why is it the things most people want to know are usually none of their business? Or, why don’t the number of hot dogs in a pack match the number of hot dog buns in a pack?

So, my question is - what questions plague you? Please post and maybe we can figure some things out together.

This is a rematch of the Super Bowl in 2008, and lots of people are tired of seeing the same teams – especially the Patriots, in the big game. This is New England’s 7th trip to the Super Bowl, and New York’s 5th trip.

Then there’s the halftime show, which features a move away from classic rock icons with Madonna this year. Will you be glued to the TV to see what she does, or is that a perfect opportunity for a beer run?

If you could pick any matchup for a Super Bowl, who would you pick??

In my years in rock radio, I’ve noticed there’s pretty much two kinds of R.E.M. fans – complete zealots, or people who aren’t really all that into them. I’ll confess, I’ve never been a zealot. I don’t dislike the band, but never really flew the R.E.M. flag.

Now that they’ve broken up, I was surprised on how much national attention the story received. Am I wrong in thinking “What have they done recently anyway?” I hate to see any group that can stay together over 30 years disband, but does it really change the landscape of rock at this point?

I’m interested in reading your thoughts….
