People who own exotic pets have got to learn that the general population aren’t always comfortable with their animals.  Today’s dumbass is 25-year-old Michael Salo.  He was was staying at a Holiday Inn in Iowa and decided it would be OK to let his pet python snake wander the hotel halls unsupervised.  Hotel employees discovered the snake in the halls and after crapping their pants, called animal control.  Michael was fined in court.  The hotel manager said “The man was a guest at the hotel. The snake was not. When we say we’re pet friendly, we’re talking about dogs and cats.”
