Some people will do anything to get out of a traffic ticket.

A Missouri man tried something pretty extreme during a routine traffic stop. The cop who pulled him over noticed his passenger making a cell phone call. It turns out, the man was calling in a fake robbery at a nearby gas station, hoping the officer would have to respond to that instead of writing his friend a ticket. He was busted when the dispatcher heard the officer in the background.
