Fleetwood Mac Song Returns To Charts Thanks To Viral Tweet

Thanks to a viral tweet Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” has jumped back up to the number 16 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart.

Ultimate Classic Rock is reporting the tweet sent out back on March 22 by @bottlefleet has now over 338,000 likes & 147,000 retweets of her post about a quote saying “Fleetwood Mac’s music is so boring, you can’t even dance to it”. Included with her tweet is a short video of the Golden Girls dance line from Alcorn State University in Lorman, MS with “Dreams” playing over it.

It’s believe the tweet has spiked the digital download sales, and on-demand streaming of the song, which also translated into the album Rumours jumping to the 13th spot on the Top Rock Albums chart.
