I was at Nine Inch Nails at Mizzou Arena this past Friday, and what a show it was. Here’s my review…
First of all, Nails must have soundchecked within an inch of their lives. The sound was amazing – no distortion, not too loud, all the levels were right on.
Then there was the light show and video wall. They was visually mind blowing. I’ve been to a lot of shows, and I’d have to say the Nine Inch Nails’ light show ranks near the top for ”wow factor.”
Trent Reznor still maintains his Idol-like image in that he doesn’t care to be an everyday type person. He goes to the microphone, sings a lyric, and then moves back and bends over like it took all his energy and what he’s singing is the most important message available to society. I just rolled my eyes a few times, but could still appreciate the overall quality of the show. Trent may still need to get over himself, but the concert definitely rocked.
