To celebrate their 40th anniversary Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will release a career spanning box set on vinyl.

The vinyl box set will be slit between two volumes.

The Complete Studio Albums Volume 1 will cover the years of 1976-1991 and will feature nine albums: You’re Gonna Get It!, Damn The Torpedoes, Hard Promises, Long After Dark, Southern Accents, Let Me Up (I’ve Had Enough), Full Moon Fever, & Into The Great Wide Open.

The Complete Studio Albums Volume 2 will cover the years of 1994-2014 and will feature a two-disc edition of Wildflowers along with She’s The One, Echo (a 2-LP set), The Last DJ (2-LP set), Highway Companion (2-LP set), Mojo (2-LP set), and his latest offering Hypnotic Eye, which debuted on the charts at number one a first for Petty.

Both box sets are available for pre-order right now at Tom Petty’s website here. All the albums will be on 180-gram vinyl.

In a weird scheduling of the releases, Volume 2 will be released on November 25th while Volume 1 won’t be released until December 9th.
