Petersen Automotive Museum has released a new video of Metallica‘s James Hetfield & his car collection.
James Hetfield has quite the car collection in his garage in Northern California, where he resides now. He recently donated a few cars to the Petersen Automotive Museum, including a 1948 Jaguar Black Pearl & a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr Voodoo Priest.
James said that one of the reasons he decided to donate the cars is because they are show cars, but still driveable & he just wanted more people to actually see these cars he has collected over the years.
Growing up in southern California with his dad always bringing some sort of project, a car or boat, to work on in the garage made him the car crazy-loving guy he is today. Noting when he was growing up the exciting things at home always happened in either the garage or in the music room.
Also, he notes that when his family started to “disintegrate” that’s when he started making his own family with car clubs & bands.
Metallica also has revealed they are promoting an entire month of giving in May with their charity group All Within My Hands.
