Shags is Batman (The Michael Keeton Version) Continued
Yesterday, we shared how Shags neck and back were giving him a hard time and that he was acting like Batman since he cannot turn his neck.
Well, he was able to get some muscle relaxers from the doctor yesterday which he called the ‘Good Enough Stuff’.
But now he has a theory: Is Shags body trying to keep him from attending the Veterans United Christmas Party?
Last year, he had a stroke which kept him from attending. This year, his back is all messed up. Coincidence? … Probably.
He is determined to attend (for the fiancé, of course) and will be grabbing a fist full of muscle relaxers to go to an event with an open bar …
We’ll look for him tonight on ABC 17 News.
Driving A Nice Car Does Make Others Perceive You Differently
If you’ve gone into a crippling amount of debt to buy a luxury vehicle, good news! It’s working!
A study found that people who drive nice cars are perceived by others to be more attractive, more successful, more wealthy, and of higher status.
Shags drives an old GMC Tahoe and when he sees someone driving in a nice truck, he shouts “YOU CAN’T AFFORD THAT!” It seems to make him feel better about his more sensible purchase.
Trevor recommends driving a vehicle that you can afford and doing what you can not to go into debt for it. This would also keep Shags from screaming at you that you can’t afford things.
To Many, Traveling for The Holidays Is Not A Vacation
Many of us travel for the holidays to be with family. However, a recent poll found that nearly a third of people do not feel that taking off work to go home for the holidays is a ‘vacation’.
One distinction the article made is people who stay with family feel like the trip is less of a vacation than those who stay at a hotel or Airbnb.
But with all the obligations families put on themselves over the holidays, it makes sense how some may feel they NEED a vacation after returning from seeing family.
Shags feels this when he travels back to Oregon every year. Trevor’s family lives in St. Louis so he doesn’t travel that much to see them for the holidays. Find out how the trips go later this month!
