Shags ‘Police Escort’ To Work
Shags had a tough morning.
He slept in a bit too late, which caused him to rush to get ready.
When he got out to his vehicle, frost was all over the windshield. Dealing with that put him behind even more.
So when he finally get’s on the road and is ready to make up for lost time… a cop pulls in behind him.
The cop followed him, turn for turn almost all the way to work.
And even though Shags has been on Santa’s nice list lately, he couldn’t help but feel paranoid that the cop was going to pull him over for doing something wrong.
Chinese Chess Champion Flushes His Title Away
A Chinese Chess Champion has had his title removed after pooping in the tub of a hotel.
The champion claims that he was sick, and did not have time to clean up the mess before leaving.
Trevor asked Shags if he felt pooping in a tub was grounds for having your championship title removed? Shags responded, “Well if that were true I would never win anything!”
Call of Duty Is Causing Shags To Scream At His TV
Both Shags and Trevor stopped playing the video game Call of Duty year ago.
But recently, a co-worker has convinced Shags to pick it back up. And he now remembers why he stopped playing it in the first place.
The online play has you face off against different players from around the world. Many of whom, spend more time on this game than they do anything else.
Shags described the highs and lows of the game and how frustrating it can be to go from first to worst over and over again. The kicker of the whole thing… Shags couldn’t sleep last night because all he wanted to do was go play more!
A caller shared that it sounded like his was addicted to the game. Which Shags agree is possible.
Are We Getting Sick of Travis Kelce?
Reports are indicating that Travis Kelce’s management team is getting worried about his oversaturation in the media.
From dating Taylor Swift, being in several commercials, to having one of the biggest podcasts in the world, Travis Kelce is everywhere! But is it getting to be too much?
Shags and Trevor agree if his play on the field was better, none of this would matter.
Missouri Department of Conservation Director Announces Retirement
After serving as the Director of the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) for 7 years, Sara Parker Pauley has announced that she will be retiring this July.
Both Shags and Trevor want to extend their gratitude. Sara brought a professionalism and passion to the role and is an incredible role model for outdoor men and women across the country.
We at the Morning Shag wish Sara all the best!

With all of the unique suggestions of birds we should have drafted, Trevor thinks we should do next weeks Fantasy Life Draft… Birds 2.0. Same topic, but we can’t draft any of the birds that were picked this week.
