In case you missed anything, or want more info on what Shags and Trevor talked about on the show, here is the Morning Shag Show Recap – 01/16/24.
Drink Black Coffee?… You Psycho!
How do you take your coffee? Black? You may be a psycho!
A study from back in 2016 (that Shags and Trevor talked about then) has reappeared on social media! The study suggests that if you enjoy bitter things, you are more likely to be a psychopath.
Both Shags and Trevor drink their coffee black. But only one of them shows psychopathic tendencies.
We’ll let you decide who.
The Chiefs Will Travel to Buffalo
With the Bill’s victory against the Steelers, the Chiefs will now travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills in the next round of the NFL Playoffs.
This will be the first road playoff game for Patrick Mahomes and should be a good test for him and the team.
Historically, the Chiefs have had the Bills number in the playoffs going 2-0.
Will this week’s game make it 3-0?
Listen to the game on 96.7 KCMQ this Sunday! Pre-game at 4:00 p.m.

Would You Trade Years Off Your Life For Money?
The question proposed this morning: Would you trade a year off your life for $500,000? How many years would you trade for $500,000?
Trevor wouldn’t trade any years. His argument is we do not know when our time is up. It would suck to get paid only to die the next day. So it’s better to live the years you have to the fullest and find other ways to make money.
Shags would take 2 years for $1 million dollars. His argument is that would set him up for the rest of his life and 2 years is enough to risk. He also understands that with his luck, he would die the next day.
What about you?
Peacock Is Cherry Picking Stats
The NFL is taking a victory lap in regards to the Chiefs game being streamed on Peacock, but is it deserved?
They’ll tell you the Nielsen rating was 23 million viewers making it the single largest streamed event in TV history. They’ll tell you that they put the game exclusively on streaming because viewership habits have changed and they wanted the game to be accessible to as many as possible.
What they won’t tell you is how many people subscribed to Peacock and how many people cancelled the subscription after the game. We’ll probably never know those numbers.
And if they wanted the game to be accessible to as many as possible, they would have had the game on broadcast AND streaming! And if we’re being honest, they would have put it on a more popular streaming service…
