Do We Need ‘Cyber Monday’ Anymore? Do We Need ‘Black Friday’?
- The numbers are in from Black Friday spending and more of it was done online than ever before.
- This prompted Shags and Trevor to ask if Cyber Monday (today) is even worth still having?
- Then they discussed if Black Friday was worth still having since all the sales started Nov. 1st anyway!
- Neither Shags nor Trevor did Black Friday shopping, so they’re probably not the best people to ask.
- But both agree, that shopping locally this holiday season is the better way to go!

Is Squid Game: The Challenge Worth Watching?
- A new game show based on the popular TV show Squid Game premiered on Netflix this weekend, Squid Game: The Challenge
- Contestants compete for the largest cash prize in game show history: $4.56 million!
- It’s just like the TV show, without all of the dying.
- The show does a good job of finding storylines and antagonistic characters to follow. This gives the audience contestants to root for and root against!
- Part 1 is out now, with Part 2 starting on Wednesday. The Finale will premier on Dec. 6
Shags Has A Special Delivery!
- Shags and his Fiance went in on a new mattress and bed frame for their Christmas gifts to each other this year.
- The mattress and frame arrived over the holiday weekend, however, they found that the bed frame was not delivered, and in its place was an Ice Cream Truck toy for kids
- Shags attempted to contact the company but of course over the holiday that was impossible.
- Trevor asked if he put the truck together for the kid who got a bed frame in the mix-up. Shags did not.
Mizzou Poised to Make a New Year’s Bowl!
- After the Tigers defeated Arkansas in the Battle Line Rivalry game, many analysts have Mizzou going to one of the 6 coveted New Year’s Bowls!
- Some of the projections have us in the Peach Bowl against Penn. State while others have us in the Fiesta Bowl against Texas.
- We’ll find out this Sunday where Mizzou will land.
