Wow, where do I even begin? I got this job in the middle of the pandemic, when the world was hectic, and so was my life.
I was struggling in every way possible, and KCMQ came out of the clouds like a damn superhero. I’ve always loved the music, and the team made the experience that much better. You think you’re lucky getting to listen to them everyday?? I feel lucky to have been able to work with them and learn and grow so much.
Fighting with you during “Fight Me” every day was so much fun (even though some of you have some terrible taste ;)). Kelly’s Lunch Time Machine and Smells Like The 90’s were a blast, and it was so fun learning about the bands and songs alongside you. KCMQ really is a total gem plopped in the middle of Missouri.
I’m going to miss talking to you every day, and of course working with the guys. You all really do hold a very special place in my heart! Keep rockin’, and I’ll think of you often while I’m at my new gig in Phoenix!
