Did Shags Use Halloween To Buy Candy for Himself?!
- Shags lives outside of town and not in a subdivision. When he and his fiancé went to the store to buy dinner, Shags grabbed 2 big bags of candy for Trick or Treaters. His fiancé protested the purchase since they didn’t get any Trick or Treaters last year. This year, was the same. Now Shags has gummy worms and Kit Kats for his lunch.
Dentist Recommendations on how to eat your Halloween Candy
- A Dentist in West Virginia recommends to eat all of your Halloween Candy in one sitting to better protect your teeth
- Trevor has been given the same advice from his dentist in the past
- The idea is sugar exposure to your teeth. If you stretch your candy out over several days, you will have more opportunities for the sugar to interact with your teeth. If you eat it all at once, you only have one opportunity for sugar to interact with your teeth.
- The trade-off is you’ll probably have a stomach ache from eating all that candy all at once.

What Trevor Must Do To Ensure a Mizzou Tiger Victory against #1 Georgia
- Trevor does not believe in superstitions. Shags does, especially when they have to do with sports!
- Shags wrote a list of Superstitions that Trevor MUST follow to help Mizzou get the win:
- Wear your best lucky underwear and don’t change them out (or wash them) until the Tigers win
- Eat the same pre-game meal every day until the Tigers win
- Do not wash anything lucky. Best not to wash anything.
- Avoid unlucky people during the game. Kick them out of your house one by one if needed.
- Now that Trevor knows these rules, if the Tigers lose, we all know whose fault it was…
Were Trevor’s Rights Violated
- A Trick or Treater came to Trevor’s house with her mom recording the interaction on her phone.
- Though Trevor wasn’t particularly excited about being in some random person’s video at his house, he decided not to say anything and carry on with the Halloween tradition of Trick or Treating.
- However, after the exchange Trevor feels the video will probably get deleted since the kid FAILED on all counts of Trick Or Treating: Didn’t say ‘Trick or Treat’, couldn’t grab any candy out of the bowl, ended up dropping all her candy and was unable to pick it back up without Trevor’s help, and did not say ‘Thank You’.
- Shags feels that Mom did not delete the video and will show all of her friends and co-workers her ‘sweet angel’ and be completely oblivious to the fact that her daughter failed at the act of Trick or Treating… he’s probably right.
How Can Trevor Balance The Scales Against Shags
- Shags forces Trevor to watch a scary movie each Halloween. Trevor hates scary movies, Shags loves them. What could we force Shags to do to balance the scales?
